Job: Butler/caretaker of a nobleman’s mansion in Necropolis
Secretly he’s a member of Specter and is the main caretaker for their headquarters and information as well as Rashad’s obnoxious assistant.

Weapon: He can use a set of throwing knives and other small weapons fairly well, but his main weapon is shadow magic.

Abilities:
Shadow magic: Azre is a child prodigy in shadow magic and it’s his strongest aspect. This is his primary form of attack and defense, though he usually downplays how skilled he is with it when not working at his other job. He has a wide variety of skills and uses for it including being able to walk into shadows, manipulate them into various forms as well as tangibility/density, though the denser the shadow he makes the smaller area it has. He can travel through shadows and take other people with him, but he cannot stay in them for longer than 10 minutes and he cannot leave people in them. His travelling range is also limited to ranges within his sight (even if it’s behind a wall) and he has to take a few minutes getting an idea what the area looks like so he doesn’t walk out over a pit or into a sword etc.
Acrobatics and Dexterity: Azre’s second most notable feature is his flexibility and balance on top of his ability to use his feet almost like hands. He deliberately doesn’t build up a lot of muscle like his cousin because it limits how high he can jump and his speed. It’s not uncommon for someone to catch him doing a hand stand on a stool or wire in order to reach something with his feet and he can also throw his knives with his feet with the same accuracy as his hands.
Poisons and Resistance: Because of his cousin and occupation, Azre has developed immunity to a lot of toxins to varying degrees, but he’s terrible at making them. Consequently, if he doesn’t follow a recipe to the letter when cooking his food isn’t very edible. He does carry a variety of poisons stolen from Rashad, but they’re usually minor stuff like fever inducing, stomachaches, or sedatives and he always carries more antidotes on hand then poisons.

Personality:
Because of his natural shadow magic talent, Azre has developed a bit of a haughty and proud personality. However, his job as a butler has curbed his tongue and he’s much better than he used to be about pissing people off. He still likes to tease those he’s close to and likes, and will usually save people and himself grief by simply not talking more than absolutely necessary to the people he thinks are stupid or otherwise doesn’t like. While he knows that he’s good at what he does, he also knows that it has its weaknesses and that there’s still a lot for him to learn. Because of this he’s a dedicated student during lessons, but can be a pain in the butt to you every time else.
Though he actually gets along quite well with Rashad, and even likes him better than his parents, one wouldn’t think they got along with how much they teased and pranked each other. Azre holds Rashad in high respect though, and when it really comes down to it he’s willing to listen and obey to almost anything he’s told by the older drow.

History:
Azre’s beginning history is a bit fuzzy, even for him. He’s not sure exactly how (and frankly doesn’t really care how) but he eventually ended up working and living with his cousin, Rashad at one of their families old mansions. The boy grew up with stories of his great grandfather, Maher Shelar, and developed respect for him. However, he’d never met Maher as the old man disappeared from all of Ares’ awareness before Azre was born. He doesn’t have nearly as much of a Maher complex as Rashad, but won’t take any bad mouthing of him from others at all.
One of the ones who was skeptical about his great grandfather’s secret group reviving, Azre was expecting to simply grow up to take over one of their family’s merchant divisions and was quite surprised when someone randomly showed up at the mansion with Maher’s scythe and Specter mask with a letter addressed to Rashad and Azre. Within minutes after Azre learned that Maher had passed on the duties of Specter to Rashad and appointed Azre as his assistant. With this announcement Azre’s primary work shifted from caretaker to spy and he spends most of his time upholding their outwards illusion as a simple reclusive rich family while also training and fulfilling his duties in Specter.

Extra facts:
He doesn’t like wearing shoes at all and won’t whenever he can get away with it.
While Rashad sleeps whenever there’s daylight, Azre’s sleep pattern is shifted about 6 hours from his. He wakes up at about noon and usually goes to bed several hours after midnight. He doesn’t have Rashad’s strict aversion to the sunlight and is willing to go out in the daytime without complaint. Although he usually dresses in large merchant robes that cover his head when he does go out.

Being forced to learn potions/poison brewing.
